So I immediately went and created a MyGM game with the Rockets on NBA 2K. I fired D'Antoni and hired some guy named Michael Stauffer. I traded Russell Westbrook for Lauri Markkannen and Otto Porter. I traded James Harden for Trae Young and an unprotected 2024 pick. I could have gotten more but I like Trae Young. I traded Capela for Jarrett Allen and a future 1st rounder. I traded eric gordon, gerald green and austin rivers for future picks. I signed Darren Collison and Tyreke Evans in free agency to replace them. I"m halfway through January and I'm the second seed. Only a game behind the Lakers. I feel so much better, you guys. Literally the only problem is that stupid Stauffer refuses to play Hartenstein over Jarrett Allen.
We got knocked out in the second round against the Clippers. However, in free agency I signed Anthony Davis. I also picked up a few promising rookies in the draft.
3-3 isn't that bad......better than last seasons start. Maybe stop under estimating teams. Our slow start cost us in the first quarter yesterday. We won the last three quarters but the lead was too big to get back.
