I don't know if it works with every team, but I do know injuries are a real thing and this game is over and done with, no sense in risking injury to key players. This is why he should have done this in the 2nd qtr. It is a huge hit on your stats if he just put up whatever he had in the 2nd and had to watch the rest of the game.
