R.I.P. Morey, MDA and Harden ball

    It’s over, really, it’s done. They all failed each other:
    - Morey never got enough very good 3pt shooters for MDA to run small ball properly
    - MDA never adjusted and stuck to small ball and shortening the rotation, but also just copied McHale in giving it to Harden. Great for stats and self-glorification, almost worked in 2018 because of defensive minded players.
    - Harden failed to embrace doing whatever it takes to win on defense and having off the ball plays be a part of his game.

    When will Tilman put the nail in this coffin? I don’t mind seeing Morey leave, he’s a brilliant GM but if a new coach still has to embrace pure stats driven nonsense then so be it. Harden is staying regardless, but this trio has to be broken up.

    they only played it because the Warriors had success with it. Copycats, now centres kill us on the inside

    MDA has no real say in it, Morey gets any coach they get to play his style

    Harden is fat and maybe drunk. Not really much you can do in that scenario

    Morey didn’t want MDA, remember that. It was Leslie who actually stepped in as Morey wanted JVG.

    I don’t understand why some people thought stupid ball would work. We have a serious problem with people not applying context to how statistics work or cherry picking them on this forum. It leads to the justification and continuation of bad behavior

    On the contrary, I actually think it’s impressive that they’ve managed to build the worst defense in history. That’s pretty hard to accomplish.

    What if I told y'all that when I saw who we were playing after the Brooklyn debacle, I knew we would lose.... So I didn't bother watching, .......

    Remember I said that Morey and MDA were on a very short leash??? Well it's very very short

    Harden has looked fat and more predictable than ever, which is crazy, since he looked great in preseason. Save for the wiz game, he looks old and fat to start the season.

    Gordon and Capela have dropped and Dantoni is just waiting to be fired, hope I'm wrong

    Psht, there no denial here son. I’m well aware of our shortcomings but I’m not acting like the sky is falling after 6 games into a season. Been around the game way too long to be that stupid.
