I have a request to @dachuda86 or really anyone else who can help (not trying to call anyone out, I just figure dachuda is my best bet). I heard some Republican Rep this morning say essentially that the request to investigate Biden was really about getting to the true truth about how the Russia investigation got started, not about 2020. Since then, I've gotten intensely interested to understand how this theory works. What I gather is that Biden as the point person for Ukraine got Crowdstrike (which has a Russian CTO) to create false reports for the FBI about the allegedly-Russian origin of the DNC server hack (if it was hacked at all)... and I guess getting Hunter a board position was the gravy on top. But there's a lot of things that I don't understand so they look like holes. Googling around, I find lots of articles that are at pains to say how ridiculous and far-fetched and unsupported the theory is. They are so intent on dismissing it that they don't explain its intricacies. Not even Donald Trump has managed to supply me with a good explanation of how all the parts fit together. I must be stuck in my MSM bubble, but what I really want is to get a fulsome explanation. So my request to anyone who knows how to navigate the right wing of the internet: can you please link me to a robust explanation of a theory of how the Obama Admin leveraged their power over Ukraine to engineer a false narrative that Russia (maybe in a conspiracy with Trump) tried to interfere with the American election to help Trump win? Not looking to argue about it, just want to read it. Surely, some good Trumper has distilled all the chatter and data-points into one cohesive theory somewhere.
Gee, rudy's russian mobster friend/client/benefactor sure showed up in lots of trump events. Here's another one...
It was so perfect that talking about it would blemish it. Trump’s call to Ukraine was like a top pitcher in the 8th inning of a perfect game, so you’re not supposed to jinx it!!
Yep...not going to vote Republican again for the rest of my life...and I used to be a staunch Republican supporter. Won't vote for a party that refuses to do their jobs.
Another awful statement by a republican trump defender/enabler... showing blatant ignorance and/or disregard to law...
Dana Bash isn't even asking the right questions. The right questions would be asking Conway even if Biden did something illegal, why does the president use a Sean Hannity tv segment to start caring about this issue instead of his own FBI and intelligence briefings? Ask Conway why can't the FBI on their own terms without the direction of the President investigate Biden or federal prosecutors investigate Biden in a natural way which is career prosecutors and investigators who aren't political appointees determine if there is sufficient "there there" to do an investigation into Biden and obtain proper warrants to obtain documents? Why does Trump send a private lawyer to Ukraine to cooperate with the Ukrainian government instead of official US government channels? Dana should of said that the federal government investigating Biden in itself isn't wrong or unethical. It's the President using private channels to investigate a political rival and then freezing aid to said foreign country for personal political reasons.
This proves no "quid quo pro". Trump had no intention of releasing the military aid to Ukraine, if they started the political investigation for which he was asking. Trump did not want to piss Putin off, mainly because Trump is Putin's b****. Not a good look for the POTUS.
trump already evolving his story (in other words, lie) to how he may have offered a quid pro quo, but its not an impeachable offense...
