IMO Kawhi is the best player in the NBA when healthy, he proved that when he beat Sixers, Bucks and GSW last year.

However health will always be his biggest hurdle, he may look amazing now but wait till midseason's over and the grind has taken a toll on his body. This is why I don't really see Clippers as a threat one of Kawhi, PBev and PG will be injured come playoff time.

Those guys did well in last year's playoff and Kawhi and PG were in regular season MVP discussions. Kawhi is not even averaging 30mins per game so far and has already sit out 1 game resting after playing 4 games. Their bench is deeper than ever. What makes u think they will be injured come playoff time this year?

Well the fact that he needs to sit out 1 game resting after playing 4 games? Season has barely begun Kawhi already needs rest and you asking me what makes me think they wont get injured?

Kawhi, PG and Bev all missed time last year iirc, they were all in diff teams so others could cover for them but now if one of them goes down the burden becomes heavier on the remaining guys so the chances of others getting injured is also higher.

I think u are mistaken when u think Kawhi "already needs" rest. Hes played 29 mins per game with a PER of 35.9. If u are gased need rest u won't be playing at this level of efficiency. They have enough guys to play they can afford to rest players to keep them fresh. I don't get your "burden" thing either, they are doing well with like 8 9 guys that plays 20+mins and PG isn't even playing.

don't see them as a threat to what team though? That's the thing. Without the W's, and if Clips get major injuries (very possible, I agree), then who's the real favorite this year?

Kawahi's career path reminds me a bit of Nash, Billups and Dirk where their career kept in building and blosoming later on. Comparetively Kawahi's early and current is higher than those guys but it's nice to see.

This season clippers is not the underdog, let's see how they handle other team's best shot.
