The reason teams don’t miss against us is because our defense sucks. Harden is constantly getting lost defensively. Ball watching on a drive then one of the worst close outs you’ll see. Or missing a step back and not getting back but rather a half ass attempt to steal... like he did from Levert who made the pass and then beat everyone else down court. Defense is work, effort, scheme and leadership. If your leader is half asking it defensively that’s the mentality the team will take. That was the importance of CP3. Defensive leadership and accountability - not by pointing fingers but leading by example.

Makes sense. Rockets don't play defense at all. Lazy close outs on shooters. Lazy moving picks on offense. This team won't simply commit to going all the way when it comes to doing all the little things.
It's an interesting thing that in 3min time I could go from thinking "wow, we could go up 20 at the half" to thinking "we're totally going to be down at the half."
I think most know this, it's the frustration of MDA just watching. Someone like Pop is great at realising a run is coming and calling time after 6 straight points and not 14.
