That's really an atrociously bad call. I don't want to gain advantage off something that horrible. And really, I can't see why that wouldn't be reviewable. Reviewable: "Force/tag play calls: Calls involving a defensive player's attempt to put out a runner by tagging him or touching a base, and/or whether or not the runner acquired the base." Oh, looks like they are reviewing it. Edit: Ok, I was listening to the Spanish broadcast, so I did not necessarily comprehend what was at stake. I thought it was interference. Then I thought it wasn't when I saw the replay. Then I saw him inside the line. I have no idea anymore.
Runner ran outside (really inside) the baseline and interfered with the throw. He's out, runner on 1st gets to second. But they're reviewing it now...so who knows what the **** these guys will decide?
Some things we'll need to overcome here... Hinch not pulling JV after 4 when he obviously didnt have it...was quickly losing what little he brought. If we can see this, he can too. Reddick should have been waved (and he should have been tuned in better) ....I know there was a slight pause, to see..but, he should have scored. Impatience at the plate. We're really helping out SS. Everyone was saying astros were going win the world series. Now they are back to their usual selves. No runs and they have to face Scherzer tomorrow. All the mvp talk, parade talk, jinxed the Astros. .
