I was like what the hell is happening. Did Brantley screw up? I didn't even see Brantley catch it. I had to hear the announcers say right into Brantley's glove.

 

Too many damn walks.

 

I gotta assume that Verlander is going 110, maybe 115 pitches at this point max. He needs a quick 5th.

While I agree, he’s been unable to finish guys off in a low amount of pitches. Too many 0-2 walks. We’ll eventually lose our luck

 

Verlander is really shaky. It is going to take several more runs to win this one. Astros could easily be down four or five runs. Hope he settles in.

 

Verlander playing with fire with those walks....going to haunt us somehow if he keeps doing it.

 

Stros need a 15-minute AB

 

You can see JV's heart pounding anytime there is a close up shot of him...he is way too nervous out there

 

JV grinding out there. Doing a great job but with these walks and long at bats they are putting on him I don't see how he can get past six innings.

 

hey if it were Scherzer or Strasbourg pitching like Verlander now, the announcer would say "he's being effectively wild." That's what I'll go with

 

Strasburg has been on easy street. If they ever get the lead the Stros are up against it. He could go CG tonight the way he’s pitching.

 

Breg's is dialed in. This is his moment. leggo!

 

Next inning will be huge with the top of the order coming up.
