I'm not saying defense is terrible because Paul isn't here either, once again something you invented in your head.

Our poor defense is due to poor execution, bad scheming and Mike insisting on a small ball line up where we can't finish off a good defensive possessions since our players get beat to rebounds by taller players.

 

Nope. I would absolutely love to be wrong. I'm just very skeptical of the idea that at age 31 he's finally going to "get it" and become an efficient player. He's an athletic marvel but I don't believe the Rockets can get the bad shots/inefficiency out of him over the course of the entire season. I think these three games are as likely to represent what he'll do over the course of the season as Harden's poor shooting percentage over the first 3 games is to represent what he'll do over the course of the season; highly unlikely.

But again, I'd really love to be wrong.

 

This is false equivalency. Shooting percentage is mean reverting (Harden) but shot selection (Westbrook) is not.

 

The Rockets could win a title and youd likely still complain about Russ so it doesn't really matter. The question was whether or not the Rockets are better and no one with two working eyeballs would think a Rockets team with Chris "Cant Get Lift Anymore" Paul is better than one with Brodie.

Going as I expected. Losing to Bucks was one of the 25 losses for the regular season I predicted.
I said Rockets will have plenty of times where we shoot bricks during the game; but have enough skill/talent
to win most games.

Glad House has been allowed to start and improve with game minutes.
Rockets will start hitting 3’s (eventually).

Disappointed is Thabo (so far)....expected more.

Agree about Thabo. Wasn't expecting much but was hoping he'd be better.

 

Thabo's rebounding is encouraging.

 

What If (just hypothetical) Harden allows RWB to co-pilot the Rocket team, sharing touches (it is actually happening right before our eyes) but this charity act does create a mental obstacle for Harden to access his 'beast mode'?

What if (just hypothetical) Harden can only be his best self when he is having the ball in his hands at all times and scoring a 50 triple dubs?

I am skeptical....... right now WB seems to be the better team player because he has been an Energizer bunny.

 

This is when agenda takes precedence over being a fan.
