Where are mojoman, bigtexx, dachuca, andre700, and the rest of the Trump defense team? I think it’s been a week since we’ve seen them. The Donald needs some defending around here.

@bigtexxx is dealing with his whole implosion over Teddy Bridgewater, black quarterback.
@dachuda86 is in hiding over his infamous if there's quid pro quo I will impeach pro quo thing.
@MojoMan is just hiding in his bunker, listening to Mark Levin scream about liberty and liberal tyranny yadda yadda.

dachuda: y'all are getting worked up over nothing. Trump never asked for an investigation, and even if he did, that's okay. But I'm not a fan of Trump, and if he held up military aid as a quid pro quo, then I'm all for impeaching him.
bigtexxx, mojo, commodore: what the House dems are doing is illegal and unconstitutional and wrong and a coup. And bad.

Sonderland: there was something sort of like a quid pro quo, but couldn't we call it something else? Pretty please?
Mulvaney: Yes there was a quid pro quo. I have news for you guys: politics influence foreign policy. Get over it.
Taylor: Hi, I'm the top diplomat to the Ukraine. here's a fifteen page statement showing in great detail how the president withheld both the military aid and a WH meeting as quid pro quo for investigating his political rival. I'll also explain in detail why this is terrible for our legitimate policy goals re: Ukraine and Russia.
Sonderland's lawyers: our client testified that there was a quid pro quo for the WH meeting.
Federal judge: not only is the impeachment inquiry legitimate and constitutional, the WH must turn over grand jury testimony from the Russia investigation.
Nancy: we're holding a vote to set rules for the ongoing inquiry, not that we ever had to. Let the scrambling for a new defensive narrative commence.
Lt Col Vindman: I was on the call and was extremely concerned about the President asking a foreign power to investigate a US citizen. This undermines US national security.

    dachuda:
    the rest:

Please keep in mind all of the above happened in one week. ONE. WEEK.

It's extremely disappointing to see Fox News and some Republicans smear the honor of an American soldier who received a Purple Heart after being injured in Iraq. Can they not just say "he's a patriot but he's wrong."

They’ve gone after the FBI, CIA, America’s intel agencies, military heads, gold star families...it’s only natural for them to start attacking regular military members.

I have serious concerns about what we are seeing unfold.

If Trump's defenders in Congress and Fox News had their way:
    1) No impeachment would be possible unless there was a conviction of a crime
    2) No conviction can exist because Trump can't be charged with a crime NOR CAN HE BE INVESTIGATED
    3) Any investigation into Trump is a sham
    4) Anyone who speaks out or testifies against Trump in any way is traitor

Trump's attorneys have now argued in court that:
    1) The President cannot be investigated for ANY PURPOSE while in office
    2) law enforcement would have no jurisdiction to even interfere if Trump were blatantly breaking the law in front of them! (Judge used example of murdering someone in front of a cop)

They seem to be ok with an America where Trump could suspend elections and order the arrest of anyone in government who refused a loyalty pledge to Trump. Couldn't arrest him, couldn't investigate him! He has total Constitutional immunity from everything!

Would Republicans and Fox News support Stalin like purges of those who don't support Trump?

...i think we're gonna find out here, one way or another, in the next few months.;)

    ...personally...

...I think I might have a preference for summary execution, as opposed to an extended stay at Guantanamo Bay.:):D

john yoo is the guy who wrote the bush torture memos and also said that the president has the authority to have a childs testicles crushed in front of their parents. he is a war criminal and should be treated as such.

and then he is going to go on tv and slander a purple heart recipient.

    f*** that punk.

yes they would. There’s no evidence to the contrary. They behave at every step as if the ONLY enemies of America are those who dare criticize Trump. Their vision is that of a kingdom or worse. Very weird. Very disturbing.

We need to hear the call, or have Congress subpoena the recording of it.
