    I lived in California for two years, and cannot stand the people there. I wasn’t making $300 million though

    The Astros will let him walk. They don't want to be a dynasty when they can make more profit by just being good. Why try to be the greatest?

    He’ll cost a lot, but he’s incredible and probably has, what, 5-7 good years in him? I’d hate to have to face him on the Yankees or Dodgers. Ugh.

    I lived in Texas for 25 and dealt with racism on a daily basis in high school (try being brown in Texas on 9/11), being in CA for 7 years I find the people more accepting and it to be a much better place to raise a family (you can actually do things outdoors without suffering from a heat stroke). I now live in the city that Cole grew up in, and I can't see myself leaving.

    A lot of that, its fun to call them out though. Newport is different,but can be pretentious as well though.

    I spent about 8 years off and on out there while in the Navy and couldn't wait to get back to Texas any time I could get away. I wasn't making 300 million either.
