Not only did we eek out a home win against a turrble team on the 2nd night of a b2b, but trip dub = okc win
So far so good. He isn't playing selfish now, that's for sure. Tonight he had twice as many rebounds and assists as Harden and half as many turnovers. Hey, he only made one less field goal but took 12 less shots. Oh, should I add twice as much hustle?
His shot selection was the most impressive thing in today's game for me. You could tell there were multiple examples where OKC Russ would've done something completely different to what he did tonight. If he can keep that decision making up we're going to be laughing about thinking CP3 was a better fit. His assists are only going to keep rising as the season goes on when teammates become accustomed to his style and his passes - there's been a few in each game to start the year where passes have gone astray because people weren't accustomed to receive the ball in that spot (if Harden had it in his hands)
Russ is playing like the 2017 mvp season. This man is well and truly back into beast mode again. His springs are back and so is his speed
If no one on the roster can guard Ingram we are in trouble. How are we supposed to guard the dynamic duos of the the 2 LA teams? Damn ariza and a real big not over 35 would be good to have right now.
