Didn’t we lose the Bucks the exact same way last year here at home? We were winning most of the game until the final score.

Pretty sure we were up 10 in Milwaukee too and then got owned in the second half.

I put this loss on Gordon. Who the hell keeps shooting when they keep chunking up bricks all 2nd half?

to be fair, that's what a lot of yall on this board call for. guys who don't hesitate and pull the trigger. EG is one of those that's going to let it fly. then get all upset when guys get a little gun shy. this is what you have to live with. guys aren't always going to make shots. its not like he was taking horrible shots. they were wide open shots

Brook Lopez has always been able to score, becoming so valuable when he added range shooting. But the Bucks rode him to the win, with Lopez going 4 of 5 for 11 points in the final 7 ½ minutes when D’Antoni went with P.J. Tucker on him, rather than Clint Capela. He said Tucker is his best post defender but giving up seven inches to Lopez was a lot to ask. The Bucks scored 16 points in the final four minutes.

True.. I gotta watch the 4th quarter again. I thought I saw some terrible shot selection.

nah those were open shots. it just happens to look worse when they don't go in bc it just gives the bucks more opportunities to get back in the game, especially when the rockets defense is so bad atm. That's why i mentioned the rockets need to find a better balance when they are leading to a more half court offense where it allows them to kill time on the clock.

Capela played from 7:42 until 2:17 remaining, when he was subbed out for Gordon, down 5.

Capela wouldn’t have done a thing, Tyson was the one who should’ve been in there. Capela soft, Tyson tough, comprende Dantoni?

Not sure why there are so many chicken little like reactions here. I saw much more to be encouraged about than to be wringing my hands. The team, and especially Harden will rarely have this bad of a shooting night. Chandler, McLemore, and Sefalosha all looked like good additions. House showed progression. It's a marathon not a sprint.

I love Westbrook already, and I was one of the doubters when the trade went down. Normally I like Richard Jefferson's takes, but we're not an elite team after one game when we're the only team that consistently challenged the Warriors during their dominant run, please lol....

You have more faith in Mike than I do. I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Me too, along with D’Antoni leaving him in. They got stuck at 90 points and gave up the lead in large part to Gordon building a palace. I’m fine with Gordon shooting, he’s a good shooter. What I’m not ok with is leaving him in with all our bench options rotting while he bricks it up that badly. Harden got handcuffed by ticky-tack calls even though he was feeding assists everywhere. Tucker had a huge game. Westbrook pushes the pace beautifully and the offense was noticeably less stagnant. I will live with his brickage because he will actually make a few but his energy, rebounds and assists add so much. Honestly, overall I thought it was a really encouraging game as far as how things will work out. Just... that couple minute stretch Gordon absolutely hit the brakes on their momentum. He makes even one of those they would’ve kept the lead imo.

How about those tacky calls on harden and fouling out Giannis? Weird to see them both in foul trouble.
