Rockets and Coogs sacrificed their wins to give the Astros energy.

do yall think Yordan gets in the starting lineup today vs sanchez? I didn't think he would be playing in washington at first but his ab's have been better so far, with the stros being down 2-0 pretty tough decision

I didn't say they are a better team. But they are getting more from their players than we are during the post season Batting averages below

    1. Turner - .280 Springer - .167
    2. Eaton - .250 Altuve - .358
    3. Rendon - .325 Brantley - .280
    4. Soto - .289 Bregman - .233
    5. Kendrick - .277 Gurriel - ..231
    6. Cabrera - .222 Alvarez - .213
    7. Zimmerman .300 Correa - .160
    8. Suzuki .107 Cherinos - .083
    9. Robles .261 Reddick .111

I don't see us coming back unless things drastically change. Can it happen. Sure.

Greinke booms one over left center and goes on to pitch 8 innings of 1 run baseball. His numbers are good against nl teams, havent looked at his numbers against nats this year, but I dont care, we just need a ****ing win.

No. Greinke is not a strikeout pitcher and Nats have put the ball in play non stop. Hinch will go with defense in LF tonight.

Not a chance. They’ll save him as a pinch hitter off the bench.

Nope, simply because Greinke is one of the highest flyball pitchers in baseball. Tonight is not the night to sacrifice defense. You might see him play LF when Cole starts since he gets a ton of Ks.

Baseball is such a game of momentum and streaks, and it can flip on a dime. Let’s not forget the Stros went through a 7 game losing streak in the regular season. How do you explain that, given the roster, other than that’s just how things work in baseball? The Stros have been in an extended offensive slump, and now the pitching is starting to slump. Maybe just maybe the offense wakes up and starts crushing and carries the pitchers for the next 5 games.

Here's to Greinke getting three hits with RISP and then in all seriousness telling Bregman how to hit.

The way the Nats are rolling...Greinke will be lucky to survive the first inning.

dude why the do you feel the need to come in here with that shitty energy jesus. Its game day man, **** man. That sort of fkin mentality gets you no where in life.

Greinke was traded to Houston for exactly like nights like tonight. I have 110% faith in Zack, hes the type of guy that doesn't let **** get to him. He's either going have his command on his off speed or hes not. We'll know by the 2nd inning how his night is going be. If he has that slow curve he can throw for the inner half of the strikezone, he'll eat up Soto and Rendon. Its mandatory that he controls the inner half of the zone with his off speed.

Something just tells me that we're going go out there and kick some ass early in the game. Listening to Bregman's press conference I they come out firing and show the world who they really are.
