[Official] World Series: Astros vs. Nationals

This is one day I'm glad Houston teams aren't media darlings. On National news I'm seeing more mention of Simon Biles first pitch than the game.

I’m only posting here because we playing y’all.

 

This why our great sport isn’t as popular as it should be. I’m a baseball enthusiast so I love to discuss series with the opposition or ppl in general. Not sure what your attitude is but I’ll be gone once the series is over so just hold out till then. With any luck they’ll be Saturday night.

I predict that in game 3 Grienke will come up with two on in scoring position, and will get a 2 RBI double that will open the floodgates for the hitters.

We're partying like it's 1999 vs the Braves. So many runners left on...20 through 2 games. Just ridiculous.

Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion.

 

On the bright side, Grienke was dominant in his last two starts against Washington (one this year, one last year).

Just need a little bit of confidence and momentum to get this going.

New lineup I'd consider:
Springer, Altuve, Bregman, Gurriel, Brantley, Correa, Chirinos, Reddick

Perhaps could swap Brantley and Correa even to prevent a lefty coming in to shutdown Yuli and Brantley.

Wish Diaz could play for Reddick but I don't think you can sacrifice the fielding for a full game.

 

I don't mind. Think some folks are upset you showed up this late to the party

 

We had a win or go home game vs Tampa everyone. We're in a rough spot but I am optimistic for game 3.

 

Lol they prefer me to post bout the Nats all season or postseason in here , or just wanted me here prior to game 1. I posted on crawfish initially before this forum. I wasn’t even really aware of the Astros section here . I was wondering where the biggest fan forum for the Astros was. Didn’t really see any fan sites like we have for the Nats.
