Beating the Yanks the way we did, it felt like winning the World Series - honestly I was a little disconnected last night - felt like hangover game but ready to right the ship!
I think the Astros are looking to move lefties up against Strasburg the first 5-6 innings. The Nationals' only relevant nice lefty reliever is Doolittle and he's not just coming in for 1 or 2 batters anyway, most likely.
Verlander had 2 bad starts and Astros hasn't had a gigantic inning in the playoffs, it is about time.
Alright, we got the "where are we and why are we here?" game out of the way...I hope. Can we play like it's the World Series tonight? That would be nice.
It took a phone call and a face to face to work out the issue with Springer. A bit of overkill there. Springer knows.
Correa and Gurriel have more hits with RISP than rest of the team combined. As soon as someone besides Gurriel has as many hits with RISP as Correa, they too can post on Instagram an hour before the game.
Man I kind of felt something similar. It was weird. I hate to say it, but I’ve got a bad feeling about the series. The team feels like it lost some swagger. Whatever the hell that means. Really hope I’m wrong.
