    At least the bases were empty, and it wasn't a 10-or so pitch at bat like LeMahieu. Still hurts.

    I do not get it.. Rendon is a low ball hitter and he threw him a low fastball. Soto is a good high ball hitter and he threw him a high fastball

    Cole's off tonight. On enough to still be damn good, but he's not perfect. He may not get the W, but the Astros still have a good chance of getting the win once they force Scherzer out of the game.

    I hate to say it but Cole’s streak couldn’t last. The good news though is that I’ll be shocked if Scherzer can get beyond the 5th and we should be able to put some runs on their bullpen

    With Maldonado hitting after Yordan, Yordan needs to lay off anything that doesn't look like a fastball. Scherzer isn't going to challenge him with Maldonado right after him.
