I'm surprised that as Altuve hit the home run the announcers didn't fawn over Judge's reaction to the adversity.
Smoltz was def in the tank for NY and Cuck was bringing up the rear but NYY fan always thinks their being hated on....
Sorry to spam, but have 2 Game 1 tickets available if anyone is interested http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...-tickets-game-1-tue-oct-22-at-7-08-pm.301834/
And a lot of Yankees fans felt they were biased towards the Twins and Astros. At least one of those Twins games was done by Costas. In the end, we are all wired to watch baseball game with homers as announcers. When its anything else, we feel that they’re biased... they’re not.
He literally was doing that for the Astros, dissecting how to get Torres out and how Judge is susceptible to the changeup. He was “coaching” Urquidy and James in those early innings.
I'm sorry, but it was pretty obvious. Go back and listen to the 2 plays Judge made (the first when he took a terrible first step and then had to recover to reach up, and the 2nd when he fumbled it while cutting it off in the RCF gap). Reddick makes a great catch in RF and the first thing out of JoeB's mouth is, and I quote, "we've seen Judge make a lot of great plays in RF but...." They absolutely loved the Stros, but a bunch of the Yankee stuff was just over the line. They wanted a Game 7, can't blame 'em really. ALSO: I do not get the hate for Smoltz. He at least has insight into what is happening.
He did the same for the Astros. This is a crazy/silly argument. You think he was talking to the dugout?
Yeah...I just went back and watched. Smoltz was the one that said that. Not Buck. Also, so what’s the big deal? I just don’t see that as pro Yankee.
Maybe your time in Florida has made you a bit accustomed to the dicksuckery of Aaron Judge and the Yankees. For most of us, it's not a regular occurrence. ETA: Wrong. They replayed that Judge play at least 5 times, with JoeB involved each time. Unless I'm wrong.
Making the WS is expensive. Im a sucker for WS merch. Especially those 9twenty adjustable caps with the WS logo on the side. Love those.
You're right, it was Smoltz: "well we've seen Aaron Judge make some good plays in RF...." Now how are the back-to-back routine Judge plays called? And the multiple replays? Is there a difference?
