I’ve done it several times. I have always had an Astros hat. I’ve never been jeered or confronted in NY. I think some of that is I am 6’6” and 240 LBS and the smallest in our group. I employ my two best friends and they have me by 2-3 inches and 50-60 lbs. I did get confronted at Wrigley... and at Fenway but nothing came of it. Those two are the worst for confrontation.... the A’s place is pretty bad too. 10,000 people in attendance but half of them are drug addicts or have major mental disorders. Nicest fans in KC, HOU, Padres and Colorado.
Combined with the sad shots of Yankees, they're trying to rival SPCA commercials for depressing. I'm not buying into it. I AM enjoying watching Julia in the background of this Springer interview running over to interview Pressly. HI, JULIA!
Good. Good game. Wasn't happy with my (whatever). Looking forward to the next start. Or something like that.
4th game is the hardest to win. Hopefully they finish it off tomorrow. Don't want to give them any hope. Verlander could pitch great but could still lose. Game 6 is against a rookie (is Urquidy confirmed?) and who knows how he handles the pressure. If they get to game 7, they'll have confidence and tell themselves we got past Verlander, why not Cole. Plus pressure on Cole and the Astros at home to avoid a big collapse. Hopefully a big 1st inning tomorrow to take away pressure on Verlander.
I can see that. Would never go to a Raiders game. ****ing Oakland man... Edit: Gawdam, yall some big boys.
Post game show, all about NY not being themselves, nervous, confused, Torres is 22 BLAH fuucking BLAH
