The Yankees also did not beat the Astros in 2017 in Minute Maid park, different year, different series, hopefully the same result.

Honestly i didnt like how much they partied on Thursday night. LIke you guys are more then 2 to 1 favorites to beat the Rays and youre partying as if you won the fkin world series. Having your family run around and all kinds of ****. Wonder if everyone even showed up to "voluntary batting practice" on Friday.

Why the hell would batting practice be optional the day before a league championship game baffles me. Does James harden now shoot around the day before he plays the Warriors? I think we got too fkin complacent and someone came in and punched us in the fkin face.

Taking Tanaka out is beyond stupid.

Is Greinke supposed to not get 1-hit and get thrown out on the base paths and swing at every first pitch?

He was good. Imagine how much better would be if he wasn’t feeling like EVERY pitch had to be perfect because his team can’t score any runs for him.

Tanaka could have pitched a complete game if he wanted to

I do remember one of the games against Boston (coulda been KC or NY but don't think so) that I got pissed off in around the 2nd inning and just went full GARM the rest of the game. We won, and the rest is history. I'd go reread that if I knew how to find it in the 5000 pages of posts I'd have to look through.

Houston took game 1 on the road last year and it got them nowhere. Hopefully it's the same for the Yankees. Tomorrow essentially becomes a must win though.

Or conversely, doesn't call the gazillion low pitches strikes for Tanaka.

Bad outing so far. Let's see what they can do with these last 9 outs.

I thought this was odd too, especially the voluntary practice and the tweet that not everyone showed..what in the world.

The workouts were not voluntary from what Hinch said, and everyone was there, and there was even video of it and interviews and **** if you're interested in going back and looking at it.

NYY were 0-4 in Houston in 2017. What’s your point?

You’re absolutely right, this loss is totally on Bill O'Brien and his horrible swings
