Verlander starting and struggling likely won’t have made any difference because the Astros have 4 hits and no runs.
Tucker was hot at the end of the season and he had good at bats vs the TB lefties. I woulda liked to see if he could make a spark
Going into tonight's game, Verlander had a hot streak. I was worried that it had to end eventually and I was afraid that it would be tonight. Same situation with Cole. I'm afraid his hot streak could end in game 5. Also if they lose tonight, all the home teams won. You would think a road team will eventually win and it would suck if TB actually did in game 5. I know you can't think like that though. It's tough losing 2 straight but hopefully it's loud from the start. Hopefully the loud noise will rally the troops. If Cole could get past the 1st inning scoreless, hope the Astros can score some runs and put less pressure on Cole. If the game remains scoreless, more pressure on Cole not to screw up and to keep pitching a perfect game.
Considering they've not scored on anyone else...that would be a draw. Plus, players play differently when down off the bat.
This is why I'm hoping the Dodgers or Braves lose tomorrow because someone is going to get upset, at least you'd think with the parity of Baseball, so hopefully ATL or LAD gets it out of the way for us. Hopefully both, the **** I care about what happens in the NL.
