This Administration isn’t hiding what it’s doing. It is astounding how far people will go to continue to defend it.
Rick Perry being thrown under the bus. Everyone always regrets getting involved with Trump. Everyone.
I was wondering about this the other day: Can we name one person (other than maybe a reality TV contestant) who is in any way better off for having known DJT? Cohen? Well no. Guiliani? Doesn't look good. Manafort? LOL. Maybe Putin is a good answer.
I wish we had a time machine. I would go back to 2012 and let Romney win so we would not be on this timeline.
Think about this for a minute: Rick Perry is the behind-the-scenes mastermind in the Trump Administration.
Rick Perry forced Trump to make a phone he didn't even want to do it. Ricky Freaking Perry. I believe it.
Mark Cuban of all people prosecuted this the best back in 2016, and had the best way of articulating and predicting this outcome. Everyone that gets in bed with Trump gets ruined except for Trump who just continues to climb on top of the bodies to remain in survival mode. It’s fascinating when you look back at his business dealings even. Not one investor. Not one “apprentice”. Nobody has ever been able to say that their professional lives have been made better in the end by working with Trump. Now it’s even worse.. it’s not just financial ruin... it’s almost all of them being in legal jeopardy. Most of them like AG Barr are literally taking a risk that Trump will be president for life. That’s the kind of people still willing to work with him. Those who are in such desperation themselves, they’ll risk criminal exposure to get something out of him. Now it comes down to his staunch supporters... Dasch, Mick, Bobby, etc. who still defend him to the end. When will they be burned enough personally to get it??
Honestly don't think he has to worry about it. Most of his supporters think that IGs are deep state spies and the ones who don't think it means Instagram.
It is true that he is just trying to convince people crimes aren’t crimes out in the open. That seems to be his defense these days. Actually more whistleblowers might actually muddy the water for him. If there are to many of them, it might actually be better for Trump to just have it be too overwhelming. If they learned anything from the Kavanaugh hearings it was that less is more. And if Trump can find a way to manufacture another whistleblower complaint that can be proven untrue, it would make his followers lose their sh$t.
