I thought they took Keuchel out too soon. He had more in the tank. NL baseball is giving me the nostalgic feeling when its executed correctly. Cards run the bases well.
Yea, I was just thinking how I miss all the jockeying around with the lineup that often happens in NL games.
God watching the Cards in the NLDS brings back so many shitty memories. I hope they get their ass whopped
Now that we're in the AL and I've seen the fine grain management of the bullpen that Hinch does, I now wonder how NL teams keep their pens from imploding with the extra substitutions they have to make. Hell, 15+ years ago, it seemed like the Astros ran Lidge-Dotel-Wagner out there every single night. It's a much more cautious era now, and I haven't been watching NL ball in a while, so I don't understand it.
Yeah, rooting for the Braves as well. Even though most of my extended family's in StL, that doesn't make me root for the Cards. Maybe it makes me root against them, actually. I'm just enjoying that WE are now the 90s Braves with our three 100-win seasons and three legendary pitchers. And the current Braves are somewhat similar to the 90s Astros, starting to have division-winning success. Hopefully, more playoff success for us, though.
Just talk ball - baseball! - cangreasjaoiweiogjwoiejgoiwge Is there any chant more annoying than the Braves/Florida State tomahawk chop?
My wife's family is from St Louis, so added reason to hate them. Living near Atlanta it makes it easier for me to go to a WS game if they make it, and most of my friends are Braves fans and were all super congratulatory when we won in 2017.
