    Pompeo graduated first in his class at West Point, something that is very, very difficult to do. How trump figured out that Pompeo was this corruptible is a window into just how clever trump is. He saw something corrupt in Barr, as events have proven, in my opinion, and saw the same thing in Pompeo. It’s frightening. Giuliani? He’s a clever clown. Barr pissing on the Justice Department and our country didn’t surprise me. He gave hints of being capable of his actions working for trump in his past. This act of betrayal by Mike Pompeo, however, is shocking. Ambition at any cost must be a drug more powerful than almost any other.

    Beltway people were unanimous in saying, no matter one's party or persuasion, that POTUS should have handled Bolton more delicately when they split. "Vindictive" was the word, as I recall. Not to be messed with or needlessly disrespected. But this POTUS disrespects everyone and everything that dare offer any resistance or criticism to him. Has been like that for 70 yrs.

    I don’t think he’s the original whistleblower, who agreed to testify yesterday behind closed doors before Congress, JV, but he could end up being another “whistleblower.” One who would feel he doesn’t need protection. Events are moving so quickly and surprisingly that I’m beginning to think anything is possible. I don’t like Bolton at all, but he feels roughly handled by trump. That’s obvious, in my opinion. It looks like trump’s actions since taking the office are beginning to bite him. Badly.

    I think people who are working for him now, or did work for him the last couple of years, are going to start coming out of the woodwork. As the trump ship is sinking, reputations are on the line. There will be those who want to preserve what is left of their own by coming forward. The rats will start jumping ship, in my opinion.
