Altuve is plain awful at running the bases. I think I’ve seen him get picked off first 50 different times.

He swings at bad pitches sometimes and can look foolish at the plate.

I hope he stays here for his whole career. He’s probably the best player we’ve ever had. Total team guy too. Loves his teammates. Class act person all the way.

I will be very pissed when he gets picked off again.

So.....resting most of the regulars when they got in at 3:00 AM, knowing he would be playing them the last two games, was "stupid"?

It was. We coulda clinched that night. Then playing most of those regulars on the last day after we clinched everything was odd too.

I still love hinch. It’s ok.

    Stretching singles into doubles?

I'm just going off of what Hinch has repeatedly said.

He knew they were going to play in JV and Cole's starts, so that factored in as well.

Some Astro players do that. Other teams have players that do that as well, only typically better than the Astros. Just on what I've seen, Astros are very aggressive going home, passive at going to third, passive at trying to steal bases (though versus other teams today, probably average), and occasionally aggressive stretching singles to doubles.

On Hinch, he can say what he wants. I don't see Astros take many risks except when reward is a run or when it is player making a judgement call on going for two.

I feel bad, mad, and sad for Brad.

Alright...I just wanted to say that cause it rhymes! ;)

No...we're rooting for you to bounce back, Brad. There's no reason you can't be the next AJ Hinch given the right opportunity!
