I just dont understand why we aren't doing more quick slants. Why are we always looking for the Homerun or WR screens? I'm baffled an offensive minded coach is this bad at play calling and time management.
Watson was off today. O'Brien was worse. 4 - 1 turnovers and we can't win the game. Sad. This is a game that is good to help temper expectations. 9-7 again, folks.
I’m not a bob defender, I’m just not a bob hater. You can design the best offensive scheme, but it doesn’t matter if the qb holds on to the ball and can’t execute. When are we going to hold Deshaun Watson responsible?
One thing that probably went unnoticed is butt chins hail mary play. Why the hell do you have all our WRs out there with little ass Coutee and whoever that johnson was. Where the hell are the big TALL tight ends. there was already a slim margin for a completion but butt chin made that slim margin even smaller some how.
Some of his throws were off and he does hold on to the ball too much at times but he is also the reason you have any offense at all. If it Watson's fault just bench him and see how great the gameplan ol Billy is calling really is.
Watson holds responsibility on many of the sacks for sure. But the offensive line somehow can't get it together after five years. Where was Fulton today? He's been playing well. Mancz was terrible. Terrible. O'Brien is just terrible at managing in game happenings in general.
So would you rather they trade deshaun since he doesn't seem to be improving, or try to replace BOB who doesn't seem to be improving? Or we cool with what we got?
If he keeps holding on to the ball too long (with Hopkins, Fuller, Coutee, Stills..and TEs that are pretty open most of the time) yeah...of course he’s going to get hurt...and it’ll be on him...God you’re pathetic. Watching that wr pass again is hilarious. One of the worst playcalls I've ever seen. Bob really outdid himself on that one
Worst thing about all of this? We are still tied for the division lead. We will be very average fall ass backwards into a couple of wins, win the division and get blown out in the first round. But they will bring BoB back because we won the division. So predictable and so depressing.
That's something you run in college. Or at your fifty. Not when you're going to quickly run out of real estate.
