Good God I hope he’s impeached ...if nothing so we can stop the nonstop whining about impeaching him...

Clinton Foundation, unlike Trump Organization - is Clean.

Trump can turn the JD into his personal vendetta machine, but it's time to put country over party my friend and show your allegiance to the flag and not Trump. Be a patriot, and be an American - end your support for this poop stain on our flag.

I hope Republicans create some BS stories based on second and third hand reports about the next Dem winner, relying on sources that are also anonymous. Then they can double down and claim it's true despite inaccuracies and no evidence, because of how they feel and what they think it meant. Then they can push to remove the democrat from office right before an election and pretend that it was the other party who was "hacking" or "manipulating" the election.

The thing is, every piece of incriminating evidence is already admitted by dumb and dumber(Trump and Gulliani).

Trump admits he asked the Ukranian president to investigate Biden and his son.

Trump admits that before the call he froze military aid to Ukraine. He has multiple contradictory excuses to why he did it but he readily admits it.

Gulliani, a private lawyer of Trump's, with zero official capacity as a representative of the US government did go to Ukraine and hunt for dirt of Biden and his son and Trump readily admits that he told the Ukranian president to keep in touch with Trump's personal lawyer in this hunt to find dirt of a political opponent.

Using Gulliani is even more open and shut evidence that Trump's motivation to find dirt on Biden is purely out of personal political self interest rather than US policy.

Either Trump is that much of an idiot that he genuinely believes what he has done is perfectly legal hence why he brazenly admits to it or he believes that putting it out there so brazenly will convince his base that it must be legal because no sane human would self incriminate themselves so readily

Btw, the Director of national intelligence explicitly states that the whistleblower did the honorable thing and used the proper channels and reported accurate information in his testimony.

The Whistleblower's complaints match perfectly with what Trump administration has already admitted to through Trump's own mouth in in press briefings and with the released summary of the transcript of the conversation between Trump and the Ukrainian President.

Trump is not an idiot. The thing that gets in trouble in public office is that he is an entitled narcissist. Trump believes most laws and rules do not apply to him. When he was a private citizen, he was able to get away with that bs. Trump hasn't yet learned that he can't do somethings, even as POTUS.

He's now surrounded by yes men and women. The grown ups that were advising him and controlling his worst impulses are long gone. Dude is now a train wreck, tweeting nonsense in front of a tv.

The WH also confirmed another critical aspect of the whistleblower - that officials ordered Ukraine transcript moved to a separate computer system. If my memory serve me right, all critical aspect of the whistleblower complaint has been confirmed.

The investigation is not so much anymore about confirming these aspect of the whistelblower, but more about if there is a cover up, how extensive is it, who is all involved. What other crimes are being covered up by moving them to the separate computer system...

p.s. that won't stop the smear campaign as there isn't much of anything else to do

I'm not sure why you hope that since that isn't what has happened here.
I will go over what happened here.
    1. Someone witnessed Trump breaking the law first hand. They were upset by it and told the whistleblower. The Whistleblower reported it.
    2. Once the information came out, Trump spoke about it. Because Trump is corrupt, ignorant and an idiot with no moral compass, He admitted that he committed the crimes. He had never thought it important to actually learn what was and wasn't allowed or how his job is supposed to work. So he admitted it, having no idea that he was admitting a crime.
    3. The Republicans had no way to claim Trump didn't do it since he admitted it. So the Senate voted unanimously to request the information on the crime. Democrats then finally proceeded towards the real steps needed for impeachment.
    4. Trump realized or was told that he had admitted committing a crime and tried to change his tune. They tried to cover up what the President has been doing since covering it up and obstruction worked last time.
    5. We already knew for a fact that a hostile foreign government, Russia, acted in 2016 to try and help Trump. That was known and agreed upon by every single intel agency in the United States. Trump is the only one who didn't seem sure that it happened.
    6. Now we know that Trump told the Russians he didn't care about them interfering in our democratic election. That explains why he and his party have been reluctant to take steps to further protect us voters and preserve the integrity of our election.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo weighs in:

Andrew Cuomo says ‘leftist’ Dems pressured Pelosi on impeachment, warns it will go 'nowhere'

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Thursday said that “leftist” Democrats pressured House Speaker Nancy Pelosi into launching the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, and warned that the inquiry will ultimately go "nowhere."

"I think we now go to a very long and unproductive road," he said during a chat on political civility at Seton Hall Law School with former N.J. Gov Chris Christie, according to The New York Daily News.

“Speaker Pelosi was dealing with pressure from her caucus and...there is a heightened leftist component to the Democratic Party that she was feeling pressure for,” Cuomo said. “She is a deliberate, responsible person. She is not a knee-jerk person and I think she even resisted the pressure in her caucus admirably for a long period of time.”

Just my guess about who it is. I'm not positive. It's not worth spending any more time on it.

The gov here is mistaken and wrong. That pressure isn’t anything new. What changed is moderate Dem in swing districts pushing for it - seven of them wrote an op ed on wash post (or maybe nyt) pushing for it.

Actually Fox News mislead. From the linked article:

A spokeswoman for Cuomo asserted that the governor on Thursday was describing the political divide in the time before Trump’s efforts to press Ukraine for dirt on Joe Biden became public, not the current situation.

“Early calls for impeachment from the far left flank members of the caucus were more aggressive, and Nancy Pelosi was taking a deliberative path which the governor agreed with,” said Dani Lever, the spokeswoman. “However, that all changed once the Ukraine revelations came to light.”

Lever also claimed that Cuomo did not intend to blame anyone other than Trump for the fact that there would likely be little progress on issues like infrastructure now that the impeachment probe.
