    JV's at 2.53 era.
    Wonder how many innings of shutout ball he'd need to get his era down to 2.49?
    Needs 13 so to make 300 for the year.

    Reid Ryan said he thought it might be that way, but Matt Thomas pointed out that if it is St Louis vs Atlanta that game would be an overall bigger market game compared to Tampa @ Houston.

    Really want JV to get to 300 Ks today. A pitching duo ending the season each with 300 K, sub 2.50 ERA, sub 1.00 WHIP, 200+ IP, 20 W, sub .200 batting avg. against, and probably more would just look incredible in the history books.
