Anybody watching this? I binge-watched the first 5 episodes over the weekend and literally can't wait on the next one. Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Walter Goggins... My favorite part so far:
I’ve been enjoying them. Not as good as anything else Mcbride has done on hbo but still worth keeping up with. I was wondering how there wasn’t a thread about it.
I felt it was going to be good so I'm going to wait til they've all aired and binge them in one sitting. I'm curious to know how McBride and DeVine work together. They have very similar screwed up humor and I love it. Can't wait I don't get this show, its pretty pointless imo. More concerning than funny
We can’t be friends! Lol. I guess I can see how someone would say Fleabags not really about anything. Still can’t fathom not liking it though. Episode 1 of season 2 is one of the funniest (not slapstick humor though) and most well written episodes of tv I’ve seen.
I think it's great. Not in the same comedy realm as Eastbound and Down, but in it's own way great. The sister - the one from Vice Principals - is so damn funny.
I've actually never seen any of his other shows, just his movies. I do like how it's funny, but not ALL about the jokes. There are some interesting characters too. I'm interested to see where they take Goodman's character. And Baby Billy.
Wife and I have really enjoyed it, think it's an overall better made show than Jody Hill's, Mcbride's previous shows.....
I have a hard time seeing Walter Goggins in anything and not thinking about the rack on Venus Van Dam lol
I tend to agree and I think the last two episodes of season 1 solidified that for me. My other takeaways from that first season was nobody plays southern better than Goggins and I think I would bang Judy Gemstone but I wouldn't tell anyone about it.
