    just another veteran getting shafted by the rockets so i'm not surprised. It's better to get shafted earlier so you can control your fate going forward at least!

    wonder if it was rejected after demarcus cousins filing to injury disabled player exception and LeBron vetoed the deal because you know LeBron run shiet!

    Bet the general nba fan and media takes joy in this. Kind of like when Harden gets called for travel on that step back. Rockets persona is to bend within the rules. Creativity and innovation is found in the margins of acceptability and predictability. People hate on Harden and Morey for such things.

    If they're really going all-in, might as well re-sign Shumpert to $10M/yr deal (can they still do that?) since Nene's contract was hypothetically just for trades anyways, albeit financially attractive trade bait. I still tend to believe this was Morey being allowed to set up all the pieces, but if the time came to actually execute a deal with major luxury tax ramifications, then Tilman would veto it.

    at this point the rockets may try to avoid playing nene at all in order to save money. because of that, nene may be willing to rework his contract so that the rockets can afford to play him. I'm sure he doesn't want to just sit on the bench the whole season.

    nene can coach strength but not sure about conditioning...might try for bob sura for conditioning but then again morey fired about four or five Antoni assistant coaches!
