    Thanks for posting.

    Again, Fertitta is the billionaire and I am not.

    Having said that, did he really need to say **** like "instead of one thinking he is the mentor."

    Chris Paul isn't a Rocket anymore. Everyone knows Fertitta wasn't happy paying an injured player, but it also isn't coincidence that Harden's game exploded with Paul and that the Rockets played their best basketball since the mid 90's.

    Rather than run his mouth, he should work on getting his head coach under contract and adding the long wing's that the head coach and GM know the Rockets need.

    Chris Paul couldn't beat his man, and he was injured too much. But this year we might learn the hard way that mentors exist for a reason.

    He should be doing stories on how to fry frozen food at the lowest cost possible, not sports stuff, unless it's UH. The Athletic cant find better people to interview?

    We just need someone that will spend the money when we are elite and save money when we are rebuilding.

    Someone that knows to shut up and only comment when absolutely necessary.

    Someone that is progressive enough to recognize brilliance and hire those people.



    What we don't need is someone that has no real plan (Morey doesnt know what the hell Fertitta will do financially) and runs his mouth about what amounts to empty promises and gossip.

    Also we all know that he is going to send out Morey to clean up his mess when it is all said any done.

    He's on a promotional book tour and the Rox will come up. Like it or not Fertitta is trying to turn himself/name into a brand ala the Trump brand. Be prepared to see the Fertitta name on everything.
