Not in today's #metoo social and legal climate. No such thing as 'obviously fishy' in the court of public opinion anymore. I don't care who the accuser is. The lack of criminal complaint is troubling for the accuser's perceived veracity. Deadspin has some of the text messages Brown sent to her. They are disturbing on multiple levels.
Belichick “both Antonio and has representatives have made statements... we’ve looked into the situation, we’re taking it very seriously. .... I’m not going to be expanding on the statements that were already.” Confirms Brown will practice today, but “one day at a time” for Sunday Patriots and Belichick end the press conference after 4 minutes. No questions other than Antonio Brown. Patriots are letting him practice today, but won’t commit to him playing Sunday
There's a South Park episode in there. She meets with the "NFL" and all of the big names yam on her randomly while she's not paying attention. Somehow it culminates with Peyton Manning who is the OG in this department (look it up).
Drew Rosenhaus: -Been anticipating this -Antonio takes these allegations seriously -These allegations are false -He denies every one of them -Antonio will be cleared -Absolutely untrue -This is a money grab -Accuser seeking financial gain
It's the kind of stupid insults junior high kids throw at each other. Dude buried himself with that line cause that's her proof.
The 1.6 million ask, not one report to the police, the tax lien, and the timing. Everything leans heavily toward Brown at this point. But what I want is the recorded conversation between Brown and Brady at their first dinner cause there is no way Giselle and Tom will understand a word he's throwin, and vice versa. I want that conversation. You post that to twitter AB.
I liked when he told her that she lives at her momma's house with her momma. It's like he emphasized her living with her mom twice.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27619578/sources-ab-rejected-2m-settlement-taylor Antonio Brown declined to sign a $2 million-plus agreement with Britney Taylor to settle a sexual assault allegation made by the wide receiver's former trainer, sources told ESPN's Jeff Darlington. Brown had a deadline last Sunday night to sign the settlement agreement before Taylor's attorneys sought to file their civil lawsuit against him. After Brown didn't sign off on the settlement, the suit was filed Tuesday. Settlement discussions began as early as April and included two mediations, one of which occurred in May, sources familiar with the talks told Darlington. Brown's decision not to sign the settlement came around the same time that he agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots, which his agent revealed September 7 and was formalized Monday.
“Antonio Brown is out of the locker room, his locker cleared out and the name plate taken down, before media was allowed into the locker room,” Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin tweeted after the Patriots beat the Dolphins, 43-0, in Miami. According to NFL media policy, teams “must ensure that name plates with players’ names and numbers are left in position until after the locker room has cleared of media.” There is a 10-12 minute grace period before members of the media are permitted to enter the locker room following a game. https://nypost.com/2019/09/15/antonio-brown-nowhere-to-be-found-after-patriots-debut/

It sounds like he is used to getting away with not paying. The underlying issue is probably that after all he went through he feels entitled, that life owes him. But that is about to backfire. This is the first time it's really in the public eye so we'll have to see if he is willing to continue this lifestyle with his career and millions at stake. He should just settle all reasonable financial concerns this week. Get it behind him. The life he's living is not worth these small amounts of money destroying it. But I suspect his ego cannot check the situation. Too much pride. This is his moment before it all crashes in. It's not too late. The system many have let him down, and he's beat it back, but it's about to eat him alive because he was hurting people and not the system.
What’s up with this guy. Guys fighting a lot of inner demons and he needs help. His agent is getting him paid but that guy is not giving him advice on how to keep getting paid, or maybe he is? And AB just doesn’t get it. At the end of the day this sounds like it’s going to be a ending in the story of AB. Great player, HOF player, broke and no one willing to help him because of the stuff he’s been doing for years. He’s no randy moss he won’t be getting a TV gig when his career is over. No coaching opportunities. Very sad this guy needs to get it together for his 5 kids.
