Say USA and Australia both win tonight - I'm going to take it they won't matchup in the next round, and can only matchup in the potential gold medal game?

Im not sure USA has the fire power or the defense to come back. Where is Middleton?

 

It's amazing how effective Gobert is against everyone except James Harden.

USA making a comeback. I don't know why max contract Middelton is not shooting more threes. Mitchell doing all the work.

 

Pops has only given him 10 minutes, 8th most on team this game.

 

Just because Middleton is a the 4 doesn't mean he has to post up.. what is he doing? Shoot some 3's

I just remembered Pop hates threes. No wonder the USA hardly shoots them and struggles so much. How are you going to go small and not prioritize 3 point shooting?

 

Team USA is leading the tourny in 3FA by big margin. At one point, averaging 43 a game per 48 minutes...that's Rockets rate.

 

They don't seem to be shooting that much this game.

 

Man for professionals both teams playing like amateurs at times, just terrible strategy and or execution.

 

Joe Harris, is he the enforcer? That guy can’t do anything.

 

Players always try to go around Gobert, but Harden has learned that you go right into him and he is ineffective.

 

Harris just watching Mitchell drive rather than attacking the offensive rebound.

 

I like the refs mic’d up! That would surely help towards transparency and respect for the refs.
