If he was so bad that he could get cut after one game, why was he playing so damned much against the Saints?
Well, I guess it's clear who they're scapegoating. It still doesn't justify RAC's antiquated schemes, and doesn't account for our lack of pass rush. But it's a start I guess.
I heard on the radio that we only rushed 3 (or 2) on 16 of 44 times Brees dropped back to pass. That's over 1/3 of the time we're not even rushing 4, let alone blitzing. No wonder there was no pass rush.
I don't know why any team would want to sign the 3rd cb from a team that had Ramsey and AJ Bouye. It's obvious that he would always be covering the worst WR on the field.
Athletes are on a whole 'notha level, but it muuuust be nice to be fired from your job for bad performance, yet still have 7.5 million coming your way.
Both...several times we have played very soft coverage with game on the line. But he should know better.
I really liked the Colvin signing but man was I wrong. That might be the worst single defensive performance ever in a Texans uni.
We overpaid Nick Martin, signed Phil Gaines & cut Aaron Colvin. Thought we had a productive day John.
Was just about to write that I guess Colvin wasn't a BoB FA selection. Better now than to keep paying him and tie up a roster spot, I guess. Would have been nice to figure this out in training camp or preseason though.. So, who's next? Seantrel Henderson?
