Lol Yall tripping Texans are a super bowl contender We lost on the road by another contending team by a 58 yard field goal on prime time TV This team is different
I have the most faith in the offense tytus really need to come back so he can get experience I think once he is back at LG the O-line will settle down
I expect it every time..2017 Brady & Russ, 2018 Foles, 2019 Brees. I’m sure I missed some. Just is automatic the D will blow it and that’s so sad.
Guys, it's safe to say Will Fuller has reliable hands now which would have been a insane thing to say a few years ago. How did the guy become so consistent with his hands? I EXPECT him to make the difficult catches now.
It was never mentioned in the Austin paper, either print or online (eta: or the local tv news). He lives around here, btw.
If Will Fuller could stay healthy he'd be one of the best WRs in the NFL, he's that good. Burns guys on the regular, always has to be accounted for, so even if he drops a pass or two he makes things easier. We missed him a ton last year, the moment he went out the offense went from exciting to meh as Hopkins, as great as he is, never gets separation. Hopkins is special like that, guys have him complete covered and he gets the ball somehow. Fuller is special though because he's a speed demon and I was slightly worried that the ACL would affect his speed but guess not. Hopefully, he can play one full season for us.
Yea but were they recorded as a drop pass? Isn't if it's a poorly thrown ball it doesn't go down as a dropped pass?
He had 2 hands on them all and didn't catch them, don't know how/who makes that official decision. The last one certainly was, it hit him in both hands and his stomach/chest. The 2nd would have been a hell of a catch. Didn't see the first but they talked about it on the broadcast like it was.
Romeo is an idiot. I'll say that. I'd rather blitz the house than play prevent, given the choice. That said, I don't know how to take this game. This team has potential to be really good. We played flawlessly, and should have won. Deshaun was amazing. Touchdowns each red zone trip, if I remember correctly. The pass protection has to, and will, feet better. The running game was pretty good. That wasn't a great defense, but I think it's a pretty good one. Watt wasn't great. Hopefully he'll get better. The Saints are universally pegged as a top two or three contender in the NFC, and we just went toe to toe and could have won. I think our season is trending up.
Why is the league obsessed with the prevent D? It's been decades now. When has it prevented what it should? I want an in depth study by one of the snarky from Deadspin. I'd rather get beat playing the team's base defense.
This gave was tough for Texans bc saints had a full game plan for them and the Texans were (thankfully) starting a o line that, at best, hand a handful of practices together. It's going to get better from here
