Has he confirmed that he was talking about Corey Brewer? I think I saw him tweet a pic of Corey but I just read on Hoopshype Corey ain’t coming. Was he just wrong?
I haven’t seen a confirmation that he was referring to Brewer. I would prefer shump over brewer at this point. Shump looked rough in the regular season at times but was able to contribute some solid minutes in the playoffs.
Yeah. I don’t think he’s confirmed either but going off of him tweeting the Brewer pic I think he just jumped the gun assuming he was going to get picked up.
That was my original thought when he opted out too …. He'll be back in some capacity at roughly the same cost. Assuming that he's with the team beyond his playing days cause I don't see him getting the $3.8 he gave up in this season. On a side note - Its really telling how much the game has changed and how little is put into big men when so many of these "Old" bigs can get NBA roster spots over young guys with so much more athletic ability but no clue how to play the game.
