Rolling with the 5th starter (Framber) despite the off day. Stros are barely scoring runs, and the Yankees rarely lose.
The Yankees will start their longest road trip of the season tomorrow (10 games). Road trip starts with 4 in Boston who's desperate for wins. Meanwhile the Astros have 13 of 16 at home.
Nice. I'll be at the Saturday game. Mom, Dad, and I are going for Mom's birthday. JV Bobblehead Night with JV actually on the mound and in his first appearance after his no-hitter. I'm stoked.
Fair enough. Hope the wait isn't atrocious like it was back in the Dome days. The one time my friends and I did it as kids, they all opted to slide into home head first. Anybody that ever went down on the Dome field knows that the dirt was just concrete with a light dusting of dirt for color. I got a strawberry on my leg going in feet first, but I think they were all even less happy about their choice.
Looking forward to seeing if Tucker takes advantage of his opportunity. Surely he is better than a BA of .134 in the 30 games and 67 at bats and zero home runs would indicate he has raked in the big leagues so far. He could be a big help if he could shake out of whatever he is having trouble with against major league pitching.
19 of our last 22 games are against the Mariners, Angels, and Rangers. This is what we need to catch the Yankees for best AL record. Can’t take these games too lightly and play up to our potential.
