Homey the Clown went full Joker and you can't do that. It won't get you the Oscar.

    Of Love? Who wouldn't be?

I look forward to the sequels: The Smoker and The Midnight Toker

People really loving this Joker movie, but it does not look interesting at all to me. The director has come out and said it isn't even a superhero movie. DC stans thirsty for a winner. Everyone says it is good, but I have no interest.

    It's a character study...think Taxi Driver

It is the character study of Mark Appel.

He's gracefully aged into the dad from modern family.

Apparently this turned out extremely well.

It's still not the type of movie that piques my personal interest, but kudos on making something quality by doing their own thing.

I actually like this analogy quite a bit. Good comparison.

IT vs. The Joker. It's a clown off.

    I'm down for both clowns.

Re-read IT for the first time since teenage years a few weeks ago. Still a great book, I hope part 2 lives up to it. The first sure did.

Ledger's portrayal is more in the spirit of the character, an agent of mayhem who appears out of nowhere, whose background and behavior have no rational explanation.
