    What exactly were you hoping to acquire for backup 4th outfielder type? They got a 5th starter to eat some innings so we weren't running Cy Sneed and company out there. And they got a middle of the road relief pitcher so we weren't running Cy Sneed and company out there. Neither of them is supposed to play a role in the playoffs - they literally are here to eat innings.

    Not sure this is true. Pretty sure Astros acquired Sanchez and Biagini to have one or both in playoffs in deep relief role.
