    1967, Wilson Pickett's "Mustang Sally" was the song of the summer when my dad was at Tigerland, Ft. Polk Louisiana. The rednecks, the blacks, the yankees...everybody loved that song and he said it played about 20 times a day on the speakers around the px.

    Teams are obviously pitching around Alvarez. Pitchers do not want to give him anything to hit. If they can't fool him, he takes them deep. Dude is going to be walked a lot.

    Actually, I'm only 35. But I love this song. My sister's high school band played it at football games. My high school band played it at football games. That's really where I came to love a lot of these old soul songs from Wilson Pickett and Sam & Dave and the like. I'm white as hell, but I love singing this song and In The Midnight Hour and all those great power songs at karaoke. As long as you scream Aaaaooohhh!, you've got it.

    I don't understand why people don't pitch him like that constantly. It's the only way you'll get him out.
