it's worth reviving, because it's useful to remember how we got here. HRC's private server was the original sin of the 2016 cycle. w/o it, there would be no President Trump. no wikileaks hacks, no russian interference.

for two years, our two greatest geopolitical rivals, knew every secret of the American government. moreover, the president at the time, knew of HRC's private server, knew of the security risks, and did nothing. it is not fanciful to say that Obama turning a blind eye to Hillary's private email, gave us Donald Trump.

the true outrage here is that we're not outraged about that basic fact.

I realize its now important to deflect blame for electing trump, but while Comey publicly announcing he was reopening his investigation might have influenced some voters, how many would be impossible to know for sure.

But the real reason trump is now president sits squarely on you and other republican voters. You folks voted for him over a list of much more qualified, much more ethical primary candidates. And you folks voted overwhelmingly in the general election.

So you own trump as president. You have another opportunity to correct that mistake in 2020, but unfortunately, I you and I both know you will vote for him again.
