Yeah but your premium defenders would be one 34 year old thicc, one 36 year old and one 37 year old.

When the average teams of 27-28 year olds are steamrolling.....

Well we are trying to field a championship team to win next year. We just need Iggy to give us one more good playoff run. I guess that would be the thinking.

I would hope, but damn, this could go two ways. We can get the awesome season Nene had in his first year as a Rocket or we can get the awful season Joe Johnson had his first and last season as a Rocket.

I feel like Iggy is about to have a drop off, but he may have a little juice left in the tank that we can squeeze out a decent season out of him.

On this site, maybe for Noah & maybe for Cousins. Probably for Ron Howard. Dwight--- not so much!

I think we should institute an autoban rule for anyone that is still dumb enough to challenge the credibility of @cyberx . I think it would really clear up a lot of crap posts/threads in general.

True. Then if we use the mle money we would be handcuffing ourselves at the trade deadline if we were interested in any buyout candidates. That's the downside. I'd try to get him at market value if I were the Rockets which means cheap but we will see what unfolds.

I can’t see Memphis buying him out. Someone will cave and give up something of value. If he was, the only reason I could see him possibly picking the rockets is the injury to cousins, which lowers their chances of making it to the finals.

Hmm... I wonder if that Davis guy could play the 5 with McGee while Lebron and Kuzma play the 4.

Everybody playing their natural positions, crazy idea I know.

Andre Iguodala would be the best player to hit the buyout market in a while, and he’s better than any buyout candidate the Rockets have signed in recent seasons. There is minimal risk in offering him the remainder of the MLE if he does get bought out by Memphis.

If DHo does a return to LaLaLand does that mean Iggy is out, and thus into TheToyShop?

Chances are he would want all our MLE due to the fact if he were bought out by Memphis he would have to give up probably half of what he would have got paid this year. If I'm Iggy id use lakers or clippers as leverage in that situation to get Houston to give me as much money as possible.
