Nope..since I don't read minds, I just went with what you posted. Nowhere in your post did you specify who it would or wouldn't stick with. Nowhere in my post did I call you a name or insult you. I merely questioned your general statement that it wouldn't stick.

Air Yordan is far more marketable, and the fans seem to love it. That’ll always be my nickname for him.

Damn Air Yordan is perfect. Call the Astros. Let them copyright this and profit so we can improve the pen!

Of the names so far, I least like Thordan, It's not going to happen Blummer. Air Yordan just feels like a rip off, and so I'd have to go with the Assassin. But I do think we can do better.

    This kid is a beast.

Hope they can find a field position that suits him soon enough.

    330 12 hr and 36 rbi in 36 games.

Not the biggest sample size but not super small either.

Kids got yearly 35+ hr and 100+ rbi potential.

Only thing I wonder is if he’s really as young as they say he is.

Finally, after all these years it seem the Astros have an all star quality/level DH..

They moved to the AL in 2013. You make it sound like it's been decades. :)

Can you imagine actually pitching against Alvarez? For starters, the guy is huge, but with his great eye for the strike zone (really special for his age) and the exit velocity of his hits... standing 60' away from him... I wouldn't be too upset with issuing a walk.

    GOOD DAY

Fastballs upstairs and try to hit his back foot with your breaking ball. If he walks, he walks.

Based on his stats in the minors and what he's done in the last 2 months, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he has MVP potential. His numbers are comparable to Bellinger, Yelich and Trout already.

Yea. Good thing we are in the AL. I love it. Having a scary a$$ monster ball crusher as our DH. Hope he keeps it up and this is only the beginning of a long and illustrious career. He'll look especially bad a$$ when his fills out and the facial hair comes in. I can see the future previews of future AL Championship Series "Air Yordan vs. The Judge" cut to these giants hitting balls across country. He's got something mythical about him.

And hope never to see a ball bounce off his head for a homerun ie. Jose Conseco.

No homeruns to far left field. He needs to work on that.
