What happens if they win 9 out of 11?

52 more games left... 2017 Astros ended with a record of 101-61

Honestly, I see this team beating that mark and even shattering it with 9-10 more wins. I'm calling 110(111)-52(51)

It’s good that Straw will get some more regular AB’s there.

July is his worse month so far, but his hot start has masked that he's hit worse than White over the past three months.

With no more waiver-trade deadline, how do DFAs work between now and September? If Rondon got DFA'd are the only options to release him or send him down if he clears waivers?

But why do they need to win 10 of 11?

From what I understand, he is waived with no waiting period.

Take it out of context and it looks bad, sure, but that was pretty much the funniest post I have ever seen on CF.

    Gerrit Cole, 100mph [IMG][IMG]

And, then stares down his own dugout like he's about to go full Amir Garrett on them.

A cool 94.5 MPH strike from @TeamCJCorrea to complete the relay [IMG] pic.twitter.com/yZzDyloYfh

More from Statcast on the Correa relay throw: The throw went 201 feet. At 94.5-mph, it's the third-hardest throw Statcast has ever tracked from Correa and third-hardest by any SS this season. (h/t @AndrewSimonMLB)
