Apologies as I will respond out of order to your post!

    1) I absolutely think he can make the 2nd tier of candidates. He's not there right now, but he CAN be there.
    2) I've been talking about his core issue for a long time. I started a thread here about automation long before Yang was on the stage. Hell, Daryl Morey mocked me on twitter for my concerns about automation/AI job loss. I think it one of the two greatest threats to the United States
    3) As for his "nobody disputes what I'm saying" line, I actually draw issue here. Nobody disputes it I guess, but they pretend it doesn't exist. The Democrats are just as bad about this as Trump was/is. They want to pretend this isn't the anvil hanging over America and talk about how they can return things to a better time. All of them, not just Joe Biden. They talk about bringing jobs back, helping people "left behind" etc. but nobody wants to talk about the real issue. Nobody was left behind. They think we're moving forward and some people got left at the station. The reality is that almost NONE of us are on the train, it just hasn't passed our station yet.
    4) Media coverage is a big part of relevancy. Yang is irrelevant right now in large part because of being shut out by the media yes, but that's still true.

    Here's one source:
    From 7-27: Who will qualify?
I saw it on tv though as well. She's concerned about the polling, not the donors, and is why she's trying to attack Biden to get a post debate poll bounce so she can qualify.

Best interpretation that's like 40K donors. Usually campaigns that don't provide numbers are doing so for a reason (and it aint because they're too proud of them). I'd say she is on the outside looking in. Her climb is easier on the donor side, but neither is easy.

Hell, with 50 candidates, it's not hard to get them confused. ;)

    Oops. Derp.

Still, her silence about it doesn't inspire confidence.

Gabbard posts her numbers regularly. I'll be interested to see what kind of bump she gets after last night.

Hey FWIW, I'm rooting against her!

She's replaced Swallwell as my least liked candidate. She's awful. Her attempts to use feminism to destroy men around her to further her own political career as some sort of flag bearer for women is disgusting to me.

I went and read the article she referenced about Biden yesterday and it was outrageous the way she framed it. She claimed he said women shouldn't work outside the home and that it led to the degradation of the family. He never said anything like that. He never even addressed women working outside the home. His entire op-ed was about wealthy families making the CHOICE to have two incomes not being subsidized by tax payers.

Yep. She's awful. Can't get her off the stage fast enough.

My social media is littered with the most pathetic "hello fellow millenials" ads from her, too, so I can't wait for that to go away.

Yeah it's incredibly short sighted but you are who it's targeted at.

The Donny's and uber liberals of the world.

Even if that works for them they are not the majority of the party.

I guess you missed the other day when I said that I don't actually support M4A lol. I would be cautious about knowing exactly the type of liberal I am. I'm very very capitalist in my blood, and voted for W's first term.

In that vein I think the "Progressives" just have to be very careful about thinking they understand their own base they are trying to win over. IMO I think the Dem candidates are just overthinking politics & what wins a majority of voters.

So I guess that tells you more about how foolish it is to go after Obama.

That was not directed at you personally, I think we align politically.

except for the voting for W part.

I had just turned 18 and grew up in the church. So different times, less knowledge, and different worldview.

Wonder how many people in that age group now that grew up in the suburbs are voting for Trump right out of high school? My wife teaches high school, and tells me all the time how the boys in particular love Trump because they simply think he's funny & is some sort of counter-cultural folk hero to them at that age. Kids that grew up in social media & trolling culture.

Have to keep reminding ourselves of the social impact of this generation. The weight of consequence of 2020 couldn't be higher which is why I think Dems are psyching themselves out. Calm down, and have a real articulate simple strategy. Get outside of the 24 hour cable news hemisphere of the MSM and find a way to connect to the population on YOUR terms. I think Beto did a good job of this in 2018 in a smaller prism of a Senate race, but its the right theory for the right time.

If I've learned anything from the debates its that the candidates need to GTF off of CNN and meet the voters on YOUR platform that has the ability to reach the entire population through a media format that you can control the message.

    Russia Russia Russia! Who cares?
Oh! They are the only reason Trump got elected, right? Yeah. Didn't they fake Obama's birth certificate and the moon landing too?

White knight around the world, Dude!
We can't balance our budget or hold a proper election, supposedly, but you and Israel are going to fix up Syria.

You are as gullible as those people who complained about Obama's birth certificate for eight years. If only they would have said that Russia did it, you'd be all over that ****.

Who cares about Russia or Syria. Try fixing the U.S. first, Mr. White Knight.

In order to preserve and fix the United States we should protect our democracy which is being and had been attacked by Russia. It actually is a big deal

Soooo...... You DONT think that Assad and Russia are a strategic partner in the middle east?

Do you really.... really want to make that statement that is simply a lie? If you want to lie about that, that's on you. Has nothing to do with the current US media infatuation with Russia's involvement in OUR politics. Its foreign policy that is fact. Assad is propped up and armed by Putin. That's just a fact.

Lord your post is nutty. Take a break from the facebook right wing meme bubble and chill the F out.
