I liken the greinke deal as drafting lonzo ball and getting sanchez for free, as the drafting of Kyle kuzma.

Greinke is sexier but man this is a super sleeper, damn near coma status.

    Apparently all of it.

I thought they would help the Astros? Tell me why not.

I honestly don’t see sanchez helping but i know he has the tools and it could happen.

    Biagini will help this year

He appears to have regained he feeling in his hand, He struckout 10 in his last start. Cant wait for Sanchez to start working with Strom. This guy has Thor type stuff and if his fingers are healed I bet he performs on a Thor level for six innings each start.

The Stros got better today. Added depth to the BP, Check
Added a catcher who will give Chirinos a break 2 or 3 days a week, Check.
Added a SP with a great stuff and a good track record before he lost feeling in his fingers. Looked great his last start.

Can't Sanchez take some starts instead of random AAA ragarm?

Another arm in the pen is another arm in the bullpen that can pitch some innings.

    Tell me why I'm wrong.

Yeah kinda tough to pitch at this level with that kind of injury.

Luhnow wanted another starter. He got another starter. Hell, he got two.

    You should be happy.

If he has a chance to get his career back on track then Houston is the best place to be. Hopefully he's past his injuries.

Also just to note he has been dominant out of the pen in his career.

    54 Games 59.1 IP 1.67 ERA .78 WHIP

But that was at the beginning of his career before the injuries

You're the angriest person I've ever seen talking about the Astros.

Sorry if you feel otherwise, hope you've chilled out.

Why are people acting like he’s not 26 and an ERA champ 3 year ago? We got him for AAAA Derek Fisher. Not comparing him to Cole or JV, but Gerrit really only had one standout season in Pittsburgh before he arrived here. Verlander was thought to be on a hard decline (hence why nobody traded for him in July).

The way he spins the ball and the staff we have in place, don’t be shocked if he’s Charlie Morton by next season. Yeah I said it.

to think he would not be a 5th starter atleast until peacock comes back is ludicrous. peacock also has great track record coming off the bullpen so that 5 spot might be sanchez's for the taking

doesn't matter what he does in the regular season, he will be coming off the bullpen in the playoffs so that may come in handy

You are assuming Peacock's shoulder will be ok. Same with James.
