    This move was a NO brainer!!!

    Complaining about what we gave up?

    We kept our two top prospects and we didn't get a rental. He's signed for two more yrs at roughly 27 mil per. More than likely we're going to lose Cole after this season. I don't think people realize how tough it is to get elite pitching. Our window is right now, next yr and the yr after. The 'Stros aren't going to win a bidding war in the off season for the top FA pitchers. With most of our core everyday players signed for the next few yrs you better d*%n well have elite pitching

    Getting Greinke for two more yrs at 27 mil per might just leave them enough $$ to resign Miley.

    He just pitched 5 innings today, so he probably won't pitch until Tuesday (off day Monday)

    Seth beer - I think he will end up being the biggest piece lost
    Josh Rojas
    Fischer went to Toronto for that trade

    Definitely traded away some talent, but a great trade by the front office

    Dont forget AZ is taking care of 23 of the 77 mil owed to him. Thats less than 18mil a year for superstar pitching he next few years if he holds up. Thats barely more than the QO. Luhnow da real MVP. Out here fielding an all star team when the all star game is already done with.
