So, I was watching some youtube videos of street ball and had a Bobby Brown sighting. I got to thinking, has there ever been anyone with less talent/skill/potential on an NBA roster? He was like a poor mans Reymond Felton (which is saying something). So enlighten me Clutchfans, who are the all time worst NBA players??
This has some good names of the 2K era https://fadeawayworld.com/2018/01/03/lowest-rated-players-ever-in-nba-2k-history/
Im gonna say even the worst nba player goes into a ymca or pro-am tourney and wrecks that court with ease.
I dunno, Bobby Brown could at least hit some threes. There's a reason he earned the nickname "Garbage Mamba."
Bobby Brown at least hit threes. Remember that guy that shot underhand free throws a couple years ago? Lmao, I think he might have been more of a waste
I completely forgot about this dude when I made the thread... Marcelo Huertas. I think the Lakers played him to help tank during Kobe's farewell tour.
The Worst Player Ever would still kick random-joe-fan's ass. https://sports.yahoo.com/brian-scal...n-one-one-challenge-231654445--nba.html?y20=1
This is an inexact science, but it might provide some insight. I came up with a metric of entire career (combined) with an average of 10 mpg and at least 5 FG per game. Assorted by WS in ascending order. Criteria, I placed emphasis on prolonged awfulness, I omitted rookies and younger players, because of potential improvements and learning curves. You cannot compare teenagers to 5 and 10+ year vets. *Only listing players with 5 or more seasons. Top 10 Worst players ever with at least 5 seasons played assorted by win shares. 1. Woody Sauldsberry (1958 - 66), 27.7 MPG - 13.6 FGA - 34 FG%, 34 eFG%, 61 FT%, and 369 TS%. Positive metric: 7.8 9rebs, but relatively to era ... not great. 2. Bill Dinwiddie (1968-1972), -2.2 WS 3. Corey Benjamin 4. Chuck Noble 5. Steve Burtt 6. Mark Macon 7. Anthony Avent 8. John Amaechi 9. Rusty Larue 10. George Wilson
