Offense needs to come through, can’t leave the bases loaded like that and not come through with some runs. Correa needs to be bumped in the order some but not a lot.
I hope it doesn't take a month for Correa to get going at the plate. Disappointed in all our stars tonight including Springer, Altuve, Bregman, and Correa. Not one hit from any of them.
Agreed, but I meant one individual person. Correa is playing his first game in a long while. Pressly might be hurt. So it's difficult to blame either of them.
Man I'm hoping the Astros can string together a long win streak. They need to have the best record. With Alverez, it's so important to have home field advantage against the Dodgers in the World Series. Every game is so important with how close the records are with the Stros and Dodgers.
Where would they fit him in the line up in LA besides pinch hitting? I guess you can drop Reddick and have a Alverez, Brantley, Springer outfield which would be shakey. At the end of the day our best combo of offensive line up and defense is the one that has Alverez in the DH.
3 runs, 5 hits just isn't going to do it against major league teams. Simple as that. Shame that at full strength we have to sit Diaz who came back playing his heart out like he'd never left and seems like one of the few Astros at the moment that actually has a spark to try to win.
