So they're going with the understated, business-like approach. I wonder if Westbrook asked the Rockets for this? I can see him wanting to stay respectful of OKC.
Genuine question though. How is it disrespectful to OKC if he makes this public? Though I can see him wanting to ease himself in. He's never played anywhere else and seems like a private guy.
I think it's very smart of them to make it closed to the public. I'd be tempted to go and heckle Westbrook and I can't be the only one. It's going to be very hard learning to like that guy. I'm rooting for my Rockets to succeed but I'm not yet to the point I can ever imagine myself rooting for Westbrook.

Glad it’s not some big parade like we won a championship. Those press conferences with Dwight and even Paul were kinda cringe worthy have a press conference then get to work on the chemistry building for the season !
This is better and the less TF talks the better. Every time he speaks is kinda embarrassing. I forgot when it was I think it was during half time and in an interview that I heard him speaking. It was very cringey. I felt bad for Kawhi and PG the look on their face was priceless. I was also thinking they might be waiting for another trade in the works to finish before they make their introductions.
